Haven Studios are a Montreal-based developer founded by Jade Raymond, a co-creator of Assassin's Creed. Raymond was at Google beforehand, but left in early 2021 once they abandoned their cloud-based gaming service, Stadia. As a big name in the industry, Raymond was able to found Haven only a month later with investment from Sony, who then acquired the studio outright in 2022.
Haven's first title is FairGame$, a live-service competitive heist shooter for PS5/PC. Unfortunately, while Haven have remained silent ever since its CG announcement trailer in May 2023, information from trusted leakers paints an incredibly negative picture.

In February 2025, an exposé reported that Fairgames (it's now dropped the $) was internally delayed from Fall 2025 to Spring 2026. Then in May 2025, Sony announced that Raymond left Haven without saying why, and even Haven staff weren't told. However, Raymond exited only a few weeks after an NDA'd external playtest was poorly received.
The most recent update arrived in September 2025, when the creative director also left. Again, likely another high-profile departure following Fairgames's poor playtest feedback, which reportedly concerned staff about its progress. It's now also well past spring 2026 and Fairgames hasn't even been mentioned again, let alone released.
Between the delay, Raymond/the CD leaving, poor playtests, Sony's colder feet in live services post-Concord, Fairgames being Haven's debut title, and already negative consumer opinion, it's hard not to be extremely pessimistic. At this point, it's far more likely Haven close than Fairgames achieving critical or commercial success.
